American thoughts to what weve done,
We never wanted an unjust war but the war had already begun,
Freedom for those across the world is more of what we seek,
Help those in need by giving a hand and direction, offer support and protection for those that are weak,
Americas heart is true and kind and leadership is sometimes blinded by power and often steps way out of line,
Until the average joe is voted in who is neither rich nor poor change will never come about for the working class which this country they once sored,
Middle class blues and taxes paid with the work of two, moms and dads busy while kids are babysat at school,
The forecast future is grim as our children slowly drift from the grade,
Dreams of a Great America in foreign eyes have slowly become hopes that slowly fade,
