Why is it that not only the man tries to control the word,
but now the people who once fought for freedom are now keeping Imus from being heard,
With the voice of many you desend on the shock jock looking for reprise,
To steal his freedom while you speak freely as your followers consume the shock Jock like a bunch of hungry flies,
The hip hop culture set free promoting sex,violence, drugs and pornography,
But little is heard, not even a word as you promote freedom of speech to those of your own color cant you see,
Freedom has a cost that many have paid and now your trying to take control,
I say let the man speek stand tall and not weak dont apologize grovel or crawl,
When I use my freedom my words have a meaning and to you I say listen or leave,
I wont stay silent, I wont be violent and I will stand without ever to flail or fall...
