Trust Me,
I’ve heard that a thousand times before,
Ill be your friend, Ill pay you back, my faith in friendship is left torn,
People asking for something they cant give,
With hope in my heart for someone I can truly trust,
Day by day the unexpected let down brings a new low,
The American way, to think of oneself starts to show,
I am but the last of a kind, I’ve searched for similar but have looked for such a long a time,
I grow weary, is there someone I can believe in,
must I become like the trustless to find happiness with friends,
or should I remain the same and keep looking with no site in end,
Faith still in place keeps me on track, trust will soon be found, and hope will forever remain in tact.....
