Saying goodbye to someone or something you care about hurts,
Sometimes its not saying goodbye to each other but the type of relationship youve had,
From Lovers to friends or friends to lovers we will continue on with what were given, or with what were left with,
We will never forget what we had or where we were, the smiles we each sharred and the emotions we both stirred,
Each will suffer knowing what couldve been, each will suffer with the change that is at hand,
With every day that passes we will see clearer, have less pain and joy will again be in site,
I have dreamed a thousand dreams with you in it and now my dreams have become empty and lonely,
Ive accepted the pain and heartbreak because Ive been living it, I accept the change because Ive become accustomed to lonely nights,
Yes i look up to the stars and still wonder if were looking up at the same star each night,
