What would he wear, what would he want to put on for everyone to see,
A blue suit, a red neck tie, black socks and black shoes, Its hard for me to choose,
So I took some time to think about my Dad, The way he spills food on his shirt when we go out to eat, the everyday attire he sports all day on his feet,
Usually a Tee Shirt, not very flashy at all, He never put to much stock into fashion or name brands, or shopping at malls,
I remeber many years ago when I lived at home, He always asked me to get his socks he left up stairs, Id moan but then go and get socks for my dad, that big old bear,
He rarely used a glass at home, 2 litre diet pepsi that was his glass, and dont drink all his soda, he\'s big and he could kick your ass,
But my dad with age has become soft, more like the man he should be, Ive seen him cry during movies or watching something on late night Tv,
From a stone to a cuddly loving bear Ive seen my Dad change, I hope I grow up to be just like him, a little different but almost the same,
He does dishes, he cooks and he cleans, he works his own business, successful and full of pride, if you met him you would know what I mean,
So here I am thinking of what he would wear, wishing he took care of himself better so he was still here,
I think he looks great in a suit, but when my tears fell onto his stained white teeshirt which he always seemed compfortable in I put it to my cheek and felt like I cuddled up to him,
His stained Tee shirt hidden underneath his suit, and just like he always did...covered him in Brutt...that strong smell ...yes thats more like my Dad......
