I wish i could remember the day I was born,
The look in your eyes when you looked deep into mine,
The love and excitment that you had when you first saw me,
I wish I could remember how it felt to be held in your arms,
Cradled and protected, wrapped up and kept warm,
With all the years that have gone by and all the trouble I have caused,
Your still here, still holding me and loving me and keeping me safe and protected,
Making sure If I should fall your around to pick me up dust me off and encourage me to try again,
You give and give even when you have little or nothing for yourself,
Mom, I love you more then I can express, more then any gift can show,
You gave me Life, You gave me a chance and you gave me hope,
You taught me about God and Jesus and then you let me make my own decisions about religion and faith,
But most of all you showered me with love and guidance and instilled in me values and beliefs allowing me to be kind and loving, faithful and proud,
I am your baby whose grown in to a man but still your baby,
and you are my Mom ......forever etched in my heart
