Candy filled their baskets,
baskets of many colors to excite their eyes,
The Easter Bunny came, such a wonderful lie,
To see the faces of children in the belief of an imaginary bunny,
Peter Cotton Tail hoppin down the bunny trail kids glowing with smiles looking sunny,
We try to raise our children with excitement and joy but few teach the truth, so sad this day became about candies and toys,
A child not knowing why easter exists, only awaits the treasures of candy like a hershey\'s kiss,
Take the time or youll soon forget, this is our Saviors day, What he did for us in our hearts and there it will stay,
So share Jesus with the ones that you love, honor his sacrifice and our father above...
Let Eatser be not just in their eyes with a candy coated rainbow,let Easter be the time we remember the sacrifice becuase he loved us so....
