To reach out without personal gain to spread a smile or cheer,

To call or write and wish a goodnight just because you care,

To constantly try to help those feeling down again learn how to fly,

And to use your wit and never to quit to erase the tears from sombodies eyes,

This is a friend,

Youve been a friend and I appreciate as you can see,

Cause I wrote this poem you set the tone as words now flow easily,

To be a friend thats good and true I just have to do one thing,

Become like you and do what you do making others feel like queens and like kings,

So thanks my friend and have a great year Ill write you when I can,
