I see you, I want you, I hear your call,
Uncertainty keeps us distant as our ears refuse to take a chance,
They cant take another "No", so eyes only taste your sweet glance,
Sometimes Ive imagined myself slicing through the air,
Elliminating the distance that keeps us apart so we can be paired,
With armor that protects from whatever blow comes my way,
Hopeful for soft words, kind and inviting, wanting me to stay,
Ive dreamed many times that are paths would cross,
An accidental bump, Two smiles that meet and two souls no longer lost,
Would it be love at first stare,
Your eyes to mine and mine to yours with a moment to share,
Would we both be brave enough to continue or to shy to carry on,
Risk a little to get a life or just say excuse me and then youd be gone,
With life so short and chances so few,
I often wonder wheres the courage so I can be with you,
So if you ever see me and think you caught my eye,

Soaring to heights youve never known berfore,
As passion keeps the fire warm and loyalty weathers any troubled storm,
The Wall between us is just an empty space,
But with a strength stronger then steel I can only enjoy seeing your face....
