My father larger then life, Worked hard everyday for his family he provided, Never lied and never stole always honest and sincere, Spoke his mind protected the weak and never showed fear, I saw him as a rock always standing his ground, He often helped out those in need or tried to cheer up those with a frown, Built to last like an unsinkable ship, My father, My Dad, and for a large man the guy was very quick, He's getting older and Ive seen him soften his hard edges smooth, Changing over the years as his lifes set on cruise, In times of need he will always help out, His voice from a gentle giant rarely will he shout, Ive seen my dad cry tears of joy these past years, Lifes roads traveled and he's learned to finally take hold and steer, His retirement is soon to come, Worked hard all his life, Slow down dad its time to relax and not run, Breathe for the first time and look around and enjoy, Your golden years are here, I love you pop, Love your son, Love your boy!!!!!
