Seasons of love, A new start such as spring brings us to each others hold, The newness and nervious days and nights slowly unfold, From first dates and a fresh new start, A love that seems unbreakable by all as expressed by two hearts, Summer sneaks its way in and young lovers are still having fun, walks upon the golden beach as the sand sparkles like diamonds under the sun, Holding hands and spending as much time as lovers can, Iced tea and a picnic with talks and memories of walking through the sand, Trips to the lake to swim as the water cools your skin, Laughter and splashing amongst unending grins, Fall has come and the newness has worn, A few fights youve survived and ready you stand for the next big storm, Still your hearts are compelled to stay in this comfort zone, The need to be with someone over powers being alone, As leaves finally turn and fall leaving the trees behind, You think of shedding your once new skin so a new one you can find, Winters come and the worlds grown black and white, no longer does she hold you through the middle of the night, She talks with a chill and no longer kisses you goodbye or hello, You would rather watch tv and hang at home and just relax and mellow, She goes out and leaves you behind, While the seasons of love had drained two now leaving one lonely mind...
