He was just a boy on the clever side,
Good in school and with everything he tried,
One day this boy met up with one Guitar,
His father new together they would become a star,
The touch of the strings made the amp roar,
His friends just encourage him to play even more,
His dad proud listened and knew,
Each time his son practiced his dreams would come true,
To see his son make a difference and become more then a man,
An accomplished Musician, who can start his own band,
Gifted with talents that will last all his days,
Song writing, entertaining, and going through life all in a blaze.

This poem is dedicated to my son who has made me feel proud, who has brought tears to my eyes as I have watched his talents grow. With one guitar he was hooked and now at age 12 blows me away as I watch his creativity. His talents were not handed down but were created by him with only his own imagination,wants and needs to keep him practicing. My hope, One day I can afford to send him to school to learn even more. He hungers to play, he has created his own light, and he has made me so proud.
