It started out by making friends,
Signed up on my space let the fun begin,
Every day I looked for mail,
Searched for friends without fail,
Checked in the morning then searched at night,
The addiction grew heavy and something wasnt right,
Spent too much time and soon deprived myself of sleep,
First it was minutes then hours then weeks,
Did I really make friends with all this time that Ive lost,
Online friends but not real friends, time is what it cost,
Time I could have been biking, or camping, or hiking,
So much times gone by and life trickles away never to come back,
My world was so much better before myspace and the emptiness
Attacks,
When you get older and your divorced or lost your partner in life,
its a difficult task to find people who are right,
Kind and concerned and wanting to know about your day,
Funny and honest full of zest who wants to play,
People go from a cube where they work to a cube at home where they go berzerk,
Its time to stop and take a look at yourself,
You work to hard in search of wealth,
You sit at home in search of friends,
Good times are gone never to be regained,
Whats left in the end is no time just your skeletal remains!!!!
So take some advice,,,,When you meet someone nice meet them A.S.A.P, plan to just be their friend, be honest as honest as you can be, Laugh and enjoy life outside the box,
Start now Lifes ticking away.....Tic Toc Tic Toc...........Your dead.....
