Mr sun has cracked the sky with brilliant colors of yellow and red,
I turn and twist in soft silky sheets enjoying my morning in bed,
A smile is worn as another days born and I have now the chance,
To live again and make new friends and dance in my underpants,
So I spring from the warmth and slide off of the bed and ready myself for fun,
Crank the radio with Rock and Roll and open all the windows to greet the sun,
With everyday a blessings felt and God is thanked for my life,
So I celebrate by being positive and basking in his warm, warm, Light,
We all choose a path and look to the future but I choose day by day,
One never knows when ones time has come so I lead my life in play,
This Inspirational poem was written for myself because I surprise myself often on how I can get up in the morning and stay positive and thankful. I have been through some tough times but yet I still remain a positive force for myself and all who are around. Faith and gratitude have become my companions through my journey.
