With only you in mind, he rose,
Battered and beaten, he rose,
From spikes that peirced his palms and feet,
While people watched and followers weeped,
From a Cross he forgave those whove done him harm,
To his father he called upon to keep him warm,
Tortured and in pain till he breathed his last breath,
His followers came from great distances without rest,
To see Lord Jesus on the cross,
A man of giving and to all a loss,
Into the heavens he rose and forgave,
Leaving behind a telling empty grave,
Believe in me is what he said,
and your sins I will cleanse till they have been shed,
Heavens gates will be open to all,
All who carry Jesus in their hearts till the day they fall"..
