Halloween Eyes That Watch : Holiday Poetry

Behind the tree Your in my view,

Hidden by foliage I follw you,

Every move you make in rhythm with each deep breathe I take,

I am the shadow kept out of site,

I wait in the dark hidden from light,

Planning my attack with the cunning of a cat,

Quiet and motionless waiting patiently to snack,

Your laughter not knowing that I am around,

Cheery halloween time will leave this mayberry town,

For the eyes that watch and follow you

will soon be seen as a monsterious and cruel,

The day of the dead and the dead come to life,

Waiting patiently with tight hand held blood thirsty knife,

An edge that is sharp and cuts all just like butter,

No words even whispered or even ones muttered,

Trick or treat from house to house you go,

Tree to tree covers the uncomming blow,

As I get closer you feel hair raise upon your skin,

a warm breathe just as wind, mine filled with ungodly sin,

You turn to look and see eyes  brightly lit with a glow,

As knife raise up high lunges towards you in total control,

You scream and you gasp from the punch to your chest,

Hoping for  a trick done out of jest,

But the eyes and the face show the demon within,

as the warmth of your blood felt runs down your cool skin,

With the smell of dead flesh and a devilish grin,

He twists the knife around till life comes to an end,

With the night not over Evil still hungers for more,

Jealious of those who have life he has many tricks in store,

Onto his next victim he starts to pursue,

Check your back my dear friend,

I think it is you....
