Seasons Greetings heard from store to store,
Trying to instill shoppers to buy a little more,
Frozen dreams of prosperity dulls the Christmas call,
Economic catastrophe effects us one and all,
So I eliminate the unwanted as the Candy cane Crackdown must begin,
Instead of toys I purchase things we need, such as socks and shoes till this recession ends,
Fat and Spoiled we have all betrayed ourselves,
So this year we spend very little while the gifts wait on store shelves,
The spirit of Christmas has not been found but I'm sure its yet to come,
For now I'll wait for better times while my frozen assets leave me numb.
