Children need disipline and need to have boundries set,

If you give in over and over again they'll turn out rotten Ill bet,

By setting up rules and enforcing them with a punishment thats fair,

Youll soon truly show them your love and how much you care,

Now spanking is a last resort if all else fails,

Its better to use a reward system so love always prevails,

When their good  let them stay up late once and awhile,

Talk to them or watch of movie with them and often share your smile,

After a child has been punished or sent to their room,

Make time to share a moment and bring them out of their gloom,

Reinforce how much you love them and tell them how you feel,

They need a constant reminder to show them your feelings are real,

Every day after school check for homework and ask about their day,

Double check the work they've done before you let them go and play,

Eat dinner together even if you have to make the time,

Cause time spent with your loved ones keeps the varments all in line,

Its your job to get them ready to someday leave the nest,

So give them a chance to try and fail and theyll fly when the time is best,

If you want your kids to be honest then you best not tell a lie,

For their smarter then you think they are and your lies will rarely fly,

Practice what you preach because your children will someday become like you,

But most of all give them constant love,

Love thats always true....
