Little Do : Family Poetry

written by Poet : RAJ

"Tis I the butterfly" said,
"I come too see if you were dead,
dead your not you fooling bird,
before you eat me may I say a word?

You laid here motionless in a tree,
which was fun for you not for me,
for now I am food for you too eat,
so you can continue to sing tweet tweet.

You might have moved or blinked an eye,
then I would have been quite shy,
but no, you laid there so discrete,
you realize I'm sour not sweet.

The least you could do, is let me go,
for my beauty is great you know,
I talk a lot this is true,
but, silly dull bird what can you do?"

Well butterfly you said your word,
I tell you I may be a dull silly bird,
but life is short for one like you,
who talks so much and little do

"GULP"
