A shadow,
placed one foot on Venus
the other on Mars
left hand on the Moon
to keep a balance.
He reach out to get the Earth
( but first, to see it, he had to blow away the purple haze that surrounded it.
The haze made him choke.
Then he cut his lips on the annoying metals and trash he didn't see that circled around it.
He collected these and put them in his pockets ).
Then wrapped a hand gently
around the earth
( then he got burned from all the bombs going off ...the fossil fuels burning,
so he had to keep juggling it )
and lifted it out of its place.
The shadow stood up,
his feet planted on planets.
He tipped Earth towards the the sun
( as he juggled it to see it better ).
( tons of disposable junk began falling off and floated into space. He tried to grab it but he had his hands full ).
In the light of the Sun
he could finally see it
( it was all crusted over with black top
and concrete).
Oh boy, they wrecked it.
Then the big sad shadow sat on the Milky Way
with it’s head in his hand while
juggling the Earth
in the other
Ahhh! I quit this poem, it’s just getting to complicated & depressing.
It's Beyond Me.
