My Wish
I lay my head down and say,
how I wish this was my last day.
The pain I've caused and the pain I feel,
a life of a nightmare made real.
I can feel my journeys end,
when it is over maybe I will have wisdom to lend.
I will not beg or bargain for my life,
just let her know I loved her my beautiful wife.
Tell my kids of them I am so proud,
I want it known so please yell it loud.
Do not cry for me this was my wish,
but now I see everything that I will miss.
