Moon Glow~ : Love Poetry

A sky full of stars all dancing for me
In a wintered sky of shimmering sea
Twirling and dipping, shooting 'cross night
Each in it's way, seeking my delight

Boldly, brightly strung against dark sky
Winking and blinking, to capture my eye
Blatant dance of brazen desire
The night is illuminated, with passion's fire

O, but my eyes, how they burn in this light
This nocturnal display- only blinds my sight
It's the moon I seek, it's wondrous glow
I'm in love with the moon, he is all I know

Loving moon with the love letter eyes
Our story unfolds, in his twilight sighs
Warm- wandering hands that make me whole
Answer to prayers, seeker of my soul

How I long for his arms, wrapped 'round me from afar
Pulling me close, hidden from the stars
To lie in our own bed of night we have made
Kissing me slow, 'till my heart is unafraid
