I once saw a real natural beauty
To the eye she brought much pleasure
A colleague of mine thought it his duty
To declare her a National Treasure.
The world has so few true wonders
It's been said they only number seven
Number eight will tear men's hears asunder
A lucky one will think this earth is heaven.
Her love might defy all sensibility
As she laughs and plays and sings
Giving an ordinary man the ability
To do the extraordinariest of things.
This writer could never do justice
To her beauty, her wit and her charms
To some this might appear to be gibberish
Showing the lack of talent in these arms. . . . .
Nobody Special
