The nights cold and long
That you so dearly dread
With no like in your love song
Will make two in a lonely bed.
You must like that guy
Like warmth from above
For things you don't like
Are the hardest to love.
For if you don't like him
Where does the love start
On what path does it begin
On the way to your heart.
You work for love, party hard
Willing to go along for the ride
Ever mindful of the reward
It makes you feel bubbly inside.
No liquid I would suspect
Can give a heart the zest
Of love built on respect
Lets the mind have its rest.
With nary a worry to tire
Your mind with needless stress
Your simply just require
A heart filled with happiness.
Never making any demands
With only his all to give
By your side he'll always stand
His whole life with you to live.
He'll be a friend that listens
To your cries and your chatter
Wiping teared cheeks that glisten
Hoping only to make life matter.
To make that happiness start
All your life you will lend
Trusting the love in your heart
First to that loving friend.
For if it always feels good
Like an old well worn shoe
Then it just maybe could
Be just the thing for you.
For a life filled with love
Without all those ole troubles
Just keep on cooing like a dove
And keep following your bubbles. . . . .
Nobody Special
