Hello : Relationship Poetry

Just how do I say hello

Just what sound do I make

Am I to go real slow

Just what tact to I take.

Do I be tatally dashing

And wit and charm display

Or do I just be daring

And simply sweep you away.

Oh just what would it take

To gently touch your mind

Wish it were a piece of cake

I would be envied by mankind.

Such a lovely smile to see

Turns on bright and quick

If you only smiled for me

I'd have surely done the trick.

I guess I just might say hi

And let it grow from there

But if I'm the least bit shy

Will you ever learn I care.

Cause if you'd only be my friend

Do not have to be my beau

Who knows where life might extend

From that first simple hello. . . . .
