Most overwhelming feelings

Can overtake the heart

Give and take and believing

Is the only way to start.

Love should not be taken

The mind need not be deceived

Love should always be given

Not just only be received.

Love must always be given

Without reserve or regard

For love that is only taken

Is love totally without reward.

For love there must be reward

Life's rewards can be so few

Mistakes and the work is hard

But with love they really grew.

A simple life to be livin

With a love to really grow

Ask and it shall be given

And your heart will always glow. . . . .
