Leaving home, a guitar on his back,
No regrets, yet a tear in his eye,
He unfolds a crumple piece of paper,
And watches over it with a sigh,
He puts the paper on the ground,
Takes the guitar off his back,
Strums a few notes, Plays a few chords,
While he continues on his track,
Making his way, unto the city,
With just the guitar and its case,
Playing that melancholy, beautiful tune,
Going at his own pace,
But then someone saw him in the street,
The song brought a tear to his eye,
He picked up the wanderer by his hand,
And then they both began to cry,
The man took the wanderer back home,
Shown him a room, both comforting and nice,
Said goodnight and the man left the room,
Not even asking for any price,
The next morning the wanderer woke to some talking,
Two men discussing about the wanderers piece,
One of them drove him to a building,
With a microphone, guitar and a lease,
A lease for the house and the equipment there,
But also there was something at the end,
"The album must be recorded in 20 days,
Then we shall grant £20,000 to spend"
The wanderer weent up to his room,
Sat and thought of some new songs,
After many a tear, sweat and some strings,
He remained extremely strong,
He recorded these beautiful pieces,
In the room that was supplied,
Then the album was complete,
And all his worries were aside,
The album was released,
To much critical acclaim,
He performed in arenas around the world,
And gathered much needed fame,
However, he was put under pressure,
To perform, then write, then record,
His fans went crazy outside his door every night,
Yet every night they were ignored,
The wanderer was trapped,
In a world he no longer wished to live in,
There was only one answer to this,
Only one way he could win,
That night, it was past Twelve O'clock
He was found with a knife next to his head,
His cold lifeless body, pouring with blood,
His cold lifeless body, souless and dead,
The story shocked fans and the whole world alike,
The story covered all over the news,
The superstar who took his own life,
He may of won, but the world, they did lose
