Holy Bludgeon part I : Narrative Poetry

The arena is crowded,

As the first victim's dead,

As the the axe fell,

It sliced off his head,

But then I was next,

And I had to escape,

The emporer had now,

Decided my fate,

I paced up and down,

Until I was shown to my doom,

To the gates of hell,

Never going back, I assumed,

But then something happened,

I was left back in awe,

So was the crowd,

As we both saw,

A pearl white Unicorn,

With a soldier on back,

With shining white armour,

Except his sword it was black,

He destroyed all the guards,

Who stood in his way,

Then he called to me,

And he did say,

"Follow me master,

Wherever I go,

I know it's unusual,

But soon you will know,

Just who you are,

More than a man,

Now follow me home"

And he lent me his hand,

As I climbed on a horse,

This time it's grey,

It didn't look happy,

With a sarcastic neigh,

As I rode and I rode,

'Till off the map,

I began to give up,

I began to feel trapped,

Until there it was,

The greatest sight,

Not mere civilisation,

A city so bright,

My eyes they were blinded,

With wonder and fear,

As the white knight proceeded,

And said we were near...
