Yeah, we do dance the sexy and lively Calypso. Not that they want to, but they do anyway as that might make their human one notice them. It's so annoying when that food one knows that she is making doesn't materialize right away. It's like a nightmare and it takes a lot of meowing and clawings to rectify the situation.
To dance - some would call it "hop" - on one's hindlegs ensures her attention. Dancing, meowing and lashing out at her legs will do the trick. If not then she is a tone deaf woman, not aware of the melodious tunes we sing for her or the exquisite dance steps we undertake to entertain her.
