Why did a small boy of 5-6 years step on a dog sitting outside of a shop, eagerly awaiting the return of its owner?
I was walking behind a mother and her son on the pavement. The mother was besotted with her child and seemed very proud at all his pranks. When we passed a small dog sitting leased outside a shop the child went over to it and stepped on it. As far as I could see he stepped it on its back and not only the tail.
The poor dog cried out for help by yapping vigorously. I shouted something like: "Don't do that," and the mother gave me the look of a scorpio. Something I returned in full ...
I think the boy did what he did to catch the attention of his mother and he sure did, only she didn't scold him, but only consoled him for my comment ...
