I’ll do anything to make you proud

I’ll do anything to make you love me

Hell I’ll do anything to make you see

You say you love me more than anything in the world

You said nothing will ever change that, daddy

I know the past is gone, but it wont ever fade away

All the “who loves ya baby‘s” cant be heard again

All I ever wanted was to be just like you, strong, amazing

And someone else’s hero

Yea you’re someone’s hero, you’re my hero daddy.

Do you see that, no you don’t

You are involved with someone else’s family

You cant see how I am feeling?

You are not around me long enough to see how I feel daddy

I am scared to tell you how I feel because you would,

You would hate me, or think I am wrong for thinking that.

Daddy I wanna be more than just your daughter

I wanna be your best friend, the one you hang out with

The one you have fun with, learn new things with,

Why don’t you want that kind of relationship with me?

Is there something that’s holding you back from loving me?

You are ashamed to tell me you love me in front of people

I always say it to just put it in your face, you hesitate to repeat

I often think about my suicidal emotions, I don’t even know why that is

Daddy do you know why it is? Will you explain if you have time?

I’m sorry I am not perfect but no one ever is, right?

I will do anything to make you proud of me and what I do

I just feel like giving up, I cant deal with the pain you cause me

How can I make you love me, and feel what I am feeling.

You yell at me, for asking you to do things with me

I know we aren’t interested in the same things

But, all my life I was always watching you and trying to learn.

Daddy I was trying to learn about you, and what you like.

Why cant you learn about what I am interested in?

I don’t think it is too much to ask for, that’s all I want.

It would make me feel so good, just for you to call me and say “HI”

See how I am doing, how my day is going and to even tell me you love me.
