early this morn
discovered that there was
someone else
that's o.k.
i'm used to competition that way
a trillion tender triangles
but this more supernatural
tonight i saw
clouds strafe the moon
and i thought
the clouds the moon and me
we can relate
how do you compete
with something invisible that's divisible
late in the night
sat in my t-shirt
my t-shirt and not much else
and i looked for a response
a resolution
all i saw was
clouds occluding the moon
ghosts and clouds
they can relate
they both hide
what once was so bright
