I could have written this poem. This child sounds like me. My experience was very similar to this. I can certainly relate to these simple but honest words. Thanks.

too many children grow up living in a home filled with chaos, it destroys them. So, very sad. But we all must rise from what ever ashes life brings us and forget the past. Everyone can complain about childhood, its best to heal from it! I would adore this poem if it gave more hope to the child who hears this and helps others heal from it, not spread sad thoughts. And it is very sad to never heal from childhood wounds.  I understand its painful but I wish it had less dwelling and more healing. Often writing can help us heal from our emotional past.
