And how much I enjoy our stimulating conversations

I could tell you
That you are in my thoughts
Every waking hour
And in my dreams when I'm asleep.

That I'll always be faithful
And that I'll love you with a love
That shall never die.
But instead,
I'll tell you that I am always here
When you need a sounding board,
Or a shoulder to cry on,
Or someone to share good news,
Or even when you just need a friend.
And yet,
As I lay awake at night
Trying to find the exact words
To express just how I feel
And trying to understand the very nature of love,
