You know that I will never hurt you.

No matter what, I can't desert you.

I have loved you much too long.

To even think to do you wrong.

Just bear with me, hold your breath.

I am here until my death.

I ask you just to hold my hand.

To steady me when I can't stand.

I have invested oh so much.

Just to awake to your tender touch.

Hold my hand and make me smile.

So I can make it one more mile.

Look into these eyes of mine.

Tell me that I wasn't blind.

Tell me that you love me so.

And no matter what, don't let go.

I love you like I have no other.

If it weren't so, why would I bother?

Just pull me close and hold me tight.
