I'm not sure I wanna be around,
When my mind decides to let go.
I thought my feet were on the ground.
But now I really don't know.
I'm entertaining crazy thoughts these days.
Things I never thought before.
Reality and fantasy are lost in this haze.
Not sure what's real anymore.
My mind and heart are worlds apart.
And I can't figure out why.
I don't even know where to start.
All I wanna do is cry.
Cry out to the moon and stars.
Scream at the earth below me.
Cringe at all the wounds and scars.
I guess that's how you know me.
Wretched, hurt and full of fear.
Scared of what I can't control.
Not knowing what isn't clear.
What I should and shouldn't hold.
Lying in the darkness, screaming.
Tears streaming from my pores.
Dying inside, awake and dreaming.
No hows, whys or what fors.
