I watched the snowflakes fall,
And then twirl around my feet.
I heard the cold winds call,
As they blew down my street.
I saw the path they left,
As they were rushing by.
I heard them call for help,
But much too cold to cry.
So white against the night,
But yet so dark and cold.
Not even the street light,
Could see the whispers told.
