Based on a true story because this is really going on...
Based on real facts because we are living in someones future and disappointing them...
I search inside to see if there's an answer to all of these why's...
My eyes fill with tears but I don't deserve to cry...
I haven't earned the right to complain so I keep on keeping on...
The hard times really ain't that hard and the rough times ain't so rough...
I don't talk tough but I do talk real though...
This is based on something we all can feel though...
Based on a real story about real people living in the real world...
I look real people in their eyes and feel their pain as if it were my own...
I wish I could take the burden, carry it up the hill, and leave it on the cross...
This battle we have lost... But one thing I know for sure...
We still can win the war...
We still have the oppurtunity to take responsibility for each other and create peace...
We still have a chance before it all comes to an end...
We can all get along...
