i was watching the stars of the night sky; to my amazement I saw something up high. not bird nor plane, i will not lie. a silver star had fell, with saddness i cry, to it i ran, fate i could not deny. so fast i thought i had begun to fly. upon approaching it I was stunned and in dismay, such a beautiful thing God has sent my way. my courage i test to protect the star that lay, knowing if i cower the star will fade in the day. whether it will burn me or be it cold, I grasp it quickly and tightly to feel it has a soul. i rush quickly, i bear the star tight to my chest, dawn is approaching so i do more than my best. the suns rays coming vastly, shadows begin to smile, such an extravagant being they pursue only to defile. as my final effort is at hand i make a leap to safety, the star begins to glow brighter revealing the skin of a baby. but it is not human and it is not of this world, as i look it arises with wings in the shape of a girl. It was that night i met you, the angel sent to me from a tear dropped from the sky. my earthly duty unto you I will not defy to protect you everynight from everyday; from the shadows that hide in light as they like to play, and through passing time I will always say: "I love you" for being honest there is no better way. -Bobby Necessary
