The feet, tracking down the beach in heavy sand
stepped into the water, distorting their looks
they grew and shrank, tickled with waves
The feet marked down the heavy strivings in wet sand
strivings tracked down, step by step
but the footprints dissolved
to step into water washes away every trace
the evidence of the strivings became unreliable from rippels
