Surprise gifts are the best
some fall from the sky like Biblical manna
undeserved blessings in solid forms
money, friendship or love, but only for you
to be singled out by Lady Luck feels good
that is until the worm of misgivings appears
you start wondering how long this luck will last
also you see the burglar in everybody
even the murdering robber in your lover
you know that everybody wants their share
however, it's yours and yet not yours to give
Lady Luck may turn into Nemesis
robbing you of all her gifts
still she showers you in them
some of them turn lethal, reproaching you
speaking in tongues of conscience
listening you feel let down by fate
undeserved luck turns into undeserved reproaches
