well known to poets and desperate men
famous writers redesigned her life
they turned te stolen goods into a myth
a tale of love and cauldrons of desire
nothing but that and always caught in the act
a love machine, tick tocking like a watch
worshipped for causing men to dream
enwrapped and adorned in myths of love
however old age disrobed her of her fineries
but still, tick tocking like a watch
a victim to the myths of herself
she still tried to stir the cauldrons of desire
