The true Christmas-spirit lives in the eyes of the little children
here the lights glow even brighter, dancing and gleaming
their little hearts are brim-full of hopes for adventures
Santa-magic will turn this evening into a row of red-white miracles
one by one, or flocking together they come without any efforts
toys, goodies and fun are theirs for the grabbing
What they don't know is how Christmas is revived by themselves
most of us feel this age-old Christmas-spirit brushing by our hearts
the miracle didn't last for long, but still, it made us glow like children
what had grown cold for being so over-adult melted and subsided
this coldness turned into a gift for joy, left behind for dead, but revived
all of this due to the lights in the eyes of the little, laughing children
