Once more I found a key
it lay drowning in a puddle
as I watched it shot lightnings at me
what was it, what code was that?
I took it and let it rest in my hand
it looked like a young bird, eager to fly
but fly where, to what lock?
One of mine or someone unknown
someone uattended, maybe forgotten
Maybe there was a home somewhere
a loved one or an aged parent
someone not to be forgotten
Once again, what was the code?
