One day the rim of her world came close
suddenly her life narrowed into nothing
Maybe this is welldeserved, she thought
I'm being restricted for being me
God and Nature is shutting me down
Being obedient she did it herself
she closed her door, her mind and her soul
everything was kept outside of her
no shout for help or mercy would reach her
no offer of love would even dawn upon her
Then suddenly she found her glasses
in all this obedience she forgot them
when she put them on the world came back
the rim turned out to be in herself
suddenly she could see and hear again
