She swims in dark waters, dreaming of light
darkness like blue velvet is everywhere
embracing her in living softness
down there she lives another life in darkest waters
when she moves the shadows move too
this is the life of the primordial world
embryos swim like this, no light, but suspended like fish
floating in the Universe in pre-wisdom
to be born means to give all this up and forget it
newborn she knows and she knows not
she learns what she already knew
conquerring new dimensions as she grows
