I saw a lion today
- oh, my mistake
I saw a photo of a lion today
almost the same and yet not
This photo actually was of several lions
all of them feeding
however, I only saw the one
that one eating the pulsating heart of the deer
or rather, that one which was about to do just that
It's pretty cat's face was twisted
what was cat now wore a demon's mask
teeth, bared and bloodied
eyes like in a shark
Now is this Nature or just a photo?
By the way, how much of a witness is a photo?
Maybe the deer was saved by humans
then all of this is a lie, a science fiction-film
off jumps the deer and the lion lies dead
shot by someone unseen
how strange and volatile is the world
nothing is real, everything is moving somewhere
no substance unless dead and still
