Breathless we climbed the wind
up there with the stars we flung us on the clouds
resting like on lambs wool we fell asleep
in the morning we were awoken by thunder and rain
so painful to feel the piercing drops falling on our heads
like Adam and Eve we slunk away, drenched by rain
interchanging heavenly clouds for earthly mud
we settled for another home, one that stays with us
none of it a dream, all of it a heavenly mirage come true
some of them soak you to the core, dream by dream
