Her feet carried her
honor their strength, their stamina
such brave feet, never gave up
walked all over, hurting from bruises
smarting from blisters, and so very tired
even shoeless, they didn't stop at anything
magical friends for someone destitute
a woman brought down to begging
a "bag lady" she was called
it should have been "Madonna of the Feet"
