The leaves fell upon the river
young soldiers felled by greed for beauty
Water carried them, perhaps still do
or were they swallowed up and sank?
Never mind, green and newborn
beautifully formed by Nature
perfect in their vulva shape,
but dead in everything but looks
All because a shady tree was cut down
didn't it sigh when it fell or was that me?
So cruelly the axe went deep, no mercy
no love for anything but those vulgar roses
artful little hussies, demanded sacrifices
to bloom, to make him praise them
as fragrent images of her and of love
still, how can they bring any fulfilling rest?
